I've had decisions I put off for months, even though something inside me had already decided long before — I was just too scared, in my head, to admit the obvious. And you know what, that's not mysticism, that's ordinary human cowardice, just dressed up nicely as "I need to think about it more." The voice of the soul doesn't speak in the noise — it speaks in the pause, on the road, in silence in front of an icon, in the moment you suddenly stop and cry for no reason you can name. That's when you listen — don't run it through logic right away, let it be heard for five minutes first.

Do one thing today: find ten minutes with no phone, no music, no conversation — just sit and be quiet, and ask yourself the one question you've been afraid to ask for a while, and then don't answer it yourself right away — wait. Don't wait for a result, don't wait for a guaranteed neat answer — just give the silence room. It might not come today, it might come tomorrow in the most unexpected shape — a random sentence, someone's glance, a line from a book. The soul isn't late. It's just waiting for you to stop interrupting it.
